Congratulations 63rd Annual Awards Winners!
June 5th was a big night at the Columbus Club of Arlington. The Better Sports Club recognized student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom, in our community and on the playing fields, celebrating the best of sports in Arlington at the 63rd Annual Awards Banquet.
Thirty-five student-athlete awards were presented along with three adult awards. BSC President, Chris Valtin, presented club member Phyllis O'Dell with the President's Award. Wakefield wrestling coach, Jeff Humphries was awarded Arlington Coach of the Year, and Shirley Brothwell became the 2019 Arlington Sportsperson of the Year.
Wakefield High School seniors were saluted as Male and Female Athletes of the Year.
