The Better Sport Club welcomed Mike Richman on September 13 to kick off our Fall speaker dinner series . Mike is a veteran journalist who has authored four books:

George Allen: A Football Life
The Redskins Encyclopedia
The Washington Redskins Football Vault
Joe Gibbs: An Enduring Legacy

​Mike has also written thousands of feature and news articles, showing a flair for telling compelling human interest stories. His articles have focused on a wide range of topics and have appeared in major publications, including The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, and Sports Illustrated magazine. He’s also written and voiced scripts for television and radio broadcast, hosted a podcast and interviewed many interesting people.

At our September dinner, Mike spoke about his soon-to-be released book, George Allan: A Football Life.  We had a great night listening to so many interesting stories of George Allan's life and coaching career. Following the presentation, there was a lively Q&A. We can't thank Mike enough for his time and story-telling; his vast knowledge of football history is unmatched.
